POPSWAP
CREATIVE CONCEPT
Popswap was a fashion app that opened up a new way of shopping and thinking about clothes. Popswap created a platform for young fashion enthusiasts to borrow and exchange clothes with each other to reduce clothing consumption.
We delved into the archives of Stockholm University and found pictures of how students interpreted the dress code in the 1970s. We found that the dresses worn in 1974 were the same as the ones we wear today. So dress codes are timeless. Borrow your grandma's dress or your dad's coat - you don't have to buy a new one to attend the party.
CREATIVE BRIEF
As a student in an ancient student town, you attend a gasque every other weekend. You accept the invitation but miss the italicized text: dark suit, formal dress and odd jacket. You send a text message to your friend, and together you reinvent the wheel each time trying to figure out if the dress can go above or below the knees for the odd jacket.
Create a guide for all students that gives an overview of what the different dress codes mean.
